Implementing Testing Accommodations

Information for Faculty & Staff

Some students have disabilities that require a variety of testing related accommodations.  It is important to note, all students with extended testing time accommodations are required to test in a separate testing environment from the classroom, either with faculty or with the SAS Testing Center.

  • Students with a testing accommodation that indicates "with SAS"  (i.e. Distraction Reduced Exam Setting with SAS) are required to test at the SAS Testing Center, unless they email the professor indicating they will not be using those accommodations in that specific course.

Fall 24 Announcements

SAS Testing has moved to Gilchrist 102!

Faculty will now provide testing information and materials through Accommodate!  Review the Faculty Guide for Implementing Accommodations for further information or see below!

As of the conclusion of the 2023-2024 academic year, Student Accessibility Services is no longer providing the service of scantron grading or exploring alternatives.  Please contact your Department Head with any questions related to scantron.
